How to mod Avkon2.mif



Here is the simple tutorial for some newbies who wants their own icons... :) :D


How To Edit step by step:

1. Open siscontent .
2. File >New Package> Empty Package> click Ok....(or else u can press ctrl+N)


3. Now go to tab conents> add entry> add file entry And select avkon2.mif u want to edit> click ok
4. Now there is a .mif file in contents..double click it


5. Replace the entry responsible for what u want with the one u want


5. After that, press close..


6. Save the file with any name u want it. (remember that it will be in .sis file)
7. Extract that file again using siscontent, and extract the avkon2.mif file that u have edit.


8. Replace the file in your Phone.
9. It is done!! :D
 

Note:
Go to the folder where it's extracted, you will get most of the nvg files which can't be edited but few svg files..
svg file can be edit using Inkscape or supported app and then repack the mif file ..

Entry 260 - missed call

Entry 540 - 543 - mobile data connecting that shows 3g, 3.5 g
Entry 548 - 3.5g text
Entry 604 - FM Transmitter
Entry 623 - USB on the go
